The way we work
The last thing a fish is likely to notice is the water it’s swimming in. No consultant can ever know your business like you do. Boundaries like assumptions, biases, and the stories you tell reflect that. They create your environment, but do you really think about them?.
We work with you find what’s helping and what’s hindering. Think of a backyard with a beautiful hardwood fence all around. One part of the backyard has gotten scrappy and no matter what you do it stays the same. You call a landscaper but they can’t get their equipment in. Your fence looks great but it’s stopping you from fixing your backyard. You could take it down, it should only be a couple days.
Then the landscaper finds problems with the pipes in that spot. Now it’s a couple weeks of work. The fence is down the whole time. It’s hard to enjoy your backyard when everyone on the street can see all the way in. The work finishes, the fence goes back up. A month later another spot is dying, you need the landscaper back and that means the fence needs to come down again. So you don’t call. You rather just let the yard go a bit than have the fence down again.
But what if you had a gate? You could do more yourself. Maybe plants trees or create a new garden bed. This is the good enough boundary. It let’s you tend to your organisation and keep it healthy and safe.
